Poster Offensive IV

With two locations on track for the latest installment of Poster Offensive, the show certainly doesn't disappoint. There are a number of silkscreen and digital print posters made from several artists, designers and illustrators from the twin cities area.

Also, now that the new election is just around the corner, there won't be anymore posters blatantly insulting George W Bush. Not that I'm a big fan of the guy by any standards, but it almost seemed too predictable and cliché in the past to have half of the posters from the previous shows commenting on how much of a fool George is. We're all aware of how much a fool the man is, but I feel like there are more important issues to comment on as well as to inspire and influence.

Despite this very small shortcoming, Poster Offensive is a great collective with extremely talented artists, and I'm pleased to know that it all started in my backyard.
